The Nashville Predators await their opponent for the Stanley Cup Final which begins Monday night.

From the odds makers, Nashville projects to go into the Cup Final as an underdog if the Penguins advance and a favorite if the Senators upset the Penguins Thursday night.

While the Predators have lost No. 1 center Ryan Johansen for the season, two key forwards in Mike Fisher and Craig Smith are expected back for the start of the Finals.

Predators GM David Poile confirmed to reporters today Craig Smith who has appeared in just one game since Round 1, will play in Game 1 and there’s a “real chance” Mike Fisher (concussion) will be good to go.

“I think there’s a real good chance of that,” Predators general manager David Poile said Wednesday of Fisher via the Nashville Tennessean “I’m pretty sure you’ll see him on the ice…… I’m optimistic that he will be available.”

Fisher had 18 goals and 42 points during the regular season. Smith had 12 goals and 29 points for the Preds.
