Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley is expected to become the Cleveland Browns new offensive coordinator.

Haley will take over the play-calling from Hue Jackson and it will be an intriguing situation for Haley if Jackson actually stays out of the way.

With the first and fourth overall picks, Cleveland is primed to draft a potential franchise quarterback.

If Haley develops good chemistry with whoever the Browns draft, it’s not a far-fetched scenario that 1-31 Hue Jackson gets fired mid-season by new GM John Dorsey and Haley gets a look as interim coach or a candidate to replace Jackson at somepoint.

For a guy who has been on no one’s radar as a head coaching candidate, this is a smart move by Haley that could eventually lead to him getting another shot as a head coach.
