Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison was named AFC Defensive Player of the Month for October.
Harrison recorded 25 tackles, seven sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery as the defending Super Bowl Champions went 4-0 in the month of October.
After a slow start, the 2008 defensive player of the year, is second in the league with 8 sacks.
