Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jarvis Jones underwent wrist this afternoon and has been officially placed on injured reserve/designated for return.
Jones has an injury that doctors believe is an 8-12 week injury following surgery and the earliest he can return is November 30 vs the New Orleans Saints. He has 14 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 QB Hurry, and 1 forced fumble this season.
Jones recorded just 1 sack in 636 snaps last season, already surpassing his sack total through three games, but the Steelers should be able to get by just fine with Arthur Moats as Jones showed few signs of being a much improved player this season.
