Jerricho Cotchery will make his first visit of free agency on Monday, visiting the Carolina Panthers. Mark Kaboly of the Tribune-Review first reported the visit.
Cotchery prefers to join a contender and the Panthers in dire need of receivers fit the profile.
Sources told Inside Pittsburgh Sports Saturday night that the Rams and Panthers are among three teams showing interest in Cotchery. The Rams have also been trying to schedule a visit this week with Cotchery.

There is a strong mutual interest between the Steelers and Cotchery but the veteran wide reciever is looking for an increase in pay, seeking around $3 million in year one of a multi-year deal.
