  • Steve Downie scored the Penguins lone goal in Monday’s 4-1 loss to the Wild. Downie buried a beautiful cross-ice feed from Letang on a delayed penalty late in the second period and nearly tied the game in the third period. The Penguins believe Downie can be a 15 goal scorer this season. “Downie has really good skill,” Mike Johnston said. “Watch he works corners. Has head up all the time, makes plays. Guy like him not only provides energy but he’s a threat.”.
