Kariya's agent says no timetable set for client to pick next NHL home

Anaheim Ducks star forward Teemu Selanne is actively courting close friend Paul Kariya to Anaheim and Kariya is eyeing a return to Anaheim.

Agent Don Baizley who represents both Selanne and Kariya, has spoken with Ducks GM Bob Murray on multiple occasions throughout the past 7-to-10 days. There is a mutual interest from both sides but it is not a slam dunk that Anaheim will make an offer or sign Kariya.

As of this morning, the Ducks have yet to make an official offer and Kariya is not operating on any kind of timetable.

"No timetable and nothing imminent, " Don Baizley the agent for Kariya told Inside Pittsburgh Sports via email today, when asked if a deal with Anaheim is imminent and if a timetable was established from Kariya to pick his next NHL home whether it be Anaheim or elsewhere.
