Wednesday night vs ILVES, Kapanen picked up an assist and scored the game winning goal in the shootout, beating the goaltender glove side. Kalpa defeated ILVES 4-3 on Wednesday, Kapanen assisted on the game tying goal. Kapanen has points in consecutive games (shootout goals are not credited as goals).
