Kunitz out for tonight’s game due to lower body injury

Pre-Game Update
Injuries keep piling up for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins will be without top centers Sidney Crosby (out indefinitely) and Evgeni Malkin (knee, out for season) tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets and now the team will also be without their top goal scoring winger in Chris Kunitz.
Kunitz who is currently the Penguins active leading goal scorer with 18 goals, has a lower body injury and did not participate in warmups.
Kunitz did not practice on Monday but did take part in today’s morning skate, skating on the 1st line with Dustin Jeffrey and Pascal Dupuis.
The Penguins scratches will be Kunitz, and defenseman Deryk Engelland. Arron Asham is on injured reserve.
Eric Tangradi was expected to be scratched upfront, but gets to stay in the lineup with Kunitz being a late scratch.
