Sources indicate the National Hockey League does not intend to act extremely fast in regards to the aftermath from last night's Penguins - Islanders game.
The league is gathering all of the possible information and taking their time in reviewing the ordeal as the league will hold in-person hearings and phone interviews with all parties involved this afternoon.
A ruling on suspensions and fines for both sides is not expected to come down until after 6:00 p.m. today.
Some league officials are calling last night's melee a disgrace to the game and both sides are expected to get hit hard with fines.
