Legendary Steelers coach Chuck Noll passed away Friday night, according to the Tribune-Review. He was 82.
According to the Trib, Noll’s wife, Marianne, found him unresponsive at 9:45 p.m. and called 911. Paramedics pronounced him dead 10 minutes later.
Noll spent 23 seasons as Steelers coach from 1969-91, winning four Super Bowls, coaching one of the NFL’s greatest dynasties. He compiled an all-time record of 209-156-1 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993.
