Jeff Locke (5-4, 4.15 ERA) tossed eight shutout innings of two-hit ball, leading the Pirates to a 1-0 shutout win over the Cleveland Indians on Saturday afternoon.
    The Pirates ended Cleveland’s five game winning streak as Locke allowed only two second inning singles by Yan Gomes and Giovanny Urshela. The left hander retired the last 19 batters he faced in one of the most dominant outings of his career.
    Locke on the afternoon went eight innings, allowing two Hits, 0 runs, while striking out six and walking none. Over his last five starts, Locke has allowed five earned runs as the Pirates have won four of five games during that span.
