  • Evgeni Malkin has looked very strong through two practices and it’s enough for Malkin to get the go ahead to play in Thursday’s season opener vs the Anaheim Ducks. “I think I will play,” Malkin said after today’s practice where he again worked with the first power power play unit. Malkin will play with Brandon Sutter and Pascal Dupuis tomorrow night.
