SABRES (19-21-6, 44 PTS) @ PENGUINS (35-10-0, 70 PTS)
The Penguins look for their 8th straight win tonight and 23rd win in 25 games in a matchup against the Buffalo Sabres tonight at the Consol Energy Center.
The team will be getting some regulars back as Evgeni Malkin will play, as will defenseman Kris Letang and goaltender Marc Andre Fleury, Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma confirmed minutes ago. Malkin has missed the last four games.
The goaltending matchup tonight will be Marc Andre Fleury vs Ryan Miller. Miller who many believe will be traded this summer, has had a disappointing season at 15-17-5 with a 2.89 GAA
Tidbits: The Penguins remain optimistic of Paul Martin being cleared to play Thursday or Saturday night. Expectations are Martin will be ready to go for the post-season with him getting a regular season game or two in before Game 1 of the playoffs….James Neal has been cleared to practice with the team. Neither player will play tonight……

As for Sidney Crosby, there remains no timetable on his return and there’s not a lot of optimism of him being able to return for the regular season.
