Martin continues strong play, scores 1st goal since Dec. 4, 2010

Defenseman Paul Martin is starting to show signs of turning the corner. He continued his solid play in Saturday’s 6-3 win over the Islanders with a +2 rating and scored his first goal of the season. Martin’s third period tally was his first goal since Dec. 4, 2010, a span of 79 games. Martin logged 25:33 of ice time in the game. The first time in five games that Martin had under 27:50 of ice time.
