The Pittsburgh Penguins have resigned Matt Cullen to a one year deal worth $1 million, the team announced.
Cullen, 39, will receive a $200,000 raise from his salary in 2015-2016. The parameters of a deal for Cullen had been on the table since before July 1.

malkin and kessel will be nightmares in the final 3 years of their deal. i was suggesting trading them now and you will aquire 4 young future superstars in return. the pens will then have a window of 8 years instead of 2 or 3. it’s not a salary dump. it’s a deck reshuffling with younger players on the roster.
