The Pittsburgh Steelers have been dealt a significant blow on their offensive line.
Inside Pittsburgh Sports has learned that starting left tackle Max Starks has told teammates he is done for the season.
It was first reported by Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette, that an MRI revealed Starks had a neck injury that could end his season or keep Starks sidelined indefinitely.
On Wednesday, the Steelers will place Starks on injured reserve, officially ending his season.
Jonathan Scott will replace Starks as the team’s starting left tackle.
Left guard Chris Kemoeatu is questionable for Sunday’s game against New England due to a knee sprain.
