Pittsburgh Penguins forward Mike Comrie faces a lawsuit.
According to court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Comrie has defaulted payments on a $165,000 Mercedes-Benz and refuses to allow plaintiff possession. Comrie bought the 2009 Mercedes-Benz CL550 in 2008.
TMZ reports, the finance company claims in the court documents that they tried to repossess the car from Comrie -- but he has "refused to allow Plaintiff possession."
Now, the finance company claims they want Comrie to pay off the rest of his contract -- $103,398.57 ... plus other costs.
Comrie, 30, signed a one year contract worth $500,000 with the Penguins. He is married to actress Hillary Duff.
