Pittsburgh Penguins forward Mike Zigomanis went through a full practice Monday afternoon and skated on a line with Eric Godard and Petr Sykora.
Zigomanis under-went shoulder surgery on January 14th and is healthy enough to return to the lineup.
Sources tell me Zigomanis will be taking off of IR in the next couple days.
Zigomanis has been skating since early April and was cleared for contact,

four weeks ago. He has been going through hitting drills with strength and conditioning coach Mike Kodar since early May.
Since Zigomanis has been on the ice for up to 7 weeks, his skating is up to the par.
My source who covered practice for me today tells me Zigomanis shot the puck well and set up Petr Sykora for a one-timer goal on a 3-on-2 breakout drill with a beautiful cross ice feed.
Whether Zigomanis gets any consideration to return to the lineup remains to be seen but there is a mutual interest from both sides to strike a deal this summer as Zigomanis is an impending free agent.
