— Starter Ross Ohlendorf went seven strong innings, allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs, receving a no decision. Ohlendorf threw 60 strikes on 94 pitching, striking out 5 and walking 1.

Alex Presley (.322) went 0-for-5 with 1 strikeout in the loss. Presley is expected to be a candidate to be recalled following the Pirates homestand. Presley is 3-for-19 in his rehab stint with Triple-A Indy.

Chase d’Arnaud (.270) went 2-for-4 with a run scored and stole his 19th base of the season.
— First baseman Matt Hague drove in his 69th RBI of the season with a two-out RBI. Hague was 1-for-3 in the game with an RBI and is batting .322 on the season.
Jeff Clement (.364) was 1-for-4 and is batting .364 since re-joining the team.
