Insider Only MLB: Dodgers scouting the Pirates

Prospect (SS) Ivan DeJesus jr in play?

The LA Times has confirmed that the LA Dodgers have been scouting Pirates closer Matt Capps.
The Times also mentiones that the Dodgers have an interest in Pirates reliever John Grabow.
The Dodgers had two East Coast scouts in attendence for the Pirates/Giants game, this past Saturday.
We’re told any deal involving the Matt Capps would have to involve short stop Ivan DeJesus jr and a top pitching prospect.
DeJesus is batting .324 with 7 home runs and 58 RBI’s for Class AA Jacksonville.
The Dodgers and Pirates have made two trades within the past year, including a blockbuster involving Jason Bay and Manny Ramirez.
