The Pirates, Reds, Indians and Giants are among four teams to express interest in third baseman Ty Wigginton according to La Velle E. Neal III of the Star Tribune. A source with the Pirates characterized the Pirates interest as just being in the “exploratory stages” but they did reach out to Wigginton’s camp. Wigginton hit .285 last season with 23 homers and 58 RBI's in 111 games last season. Wigginton is believed to be seeking a three year deal.
