Jack Wilson SS Pittsburgh Pirates is drawing interest from up to 5 teams
Interested: Det, Tor, Bal, CLE, LAD, ATL?
The Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays have shown significant interest in Pirates shortstop Jack Wilson. The Tigers and Blue Jays have made plays for Wilson in the past and both teams have held talks with the Pirates. The Tigers could be the front runner to land Wilson and they are also believed to be interested in reliever John Grabow. Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports Pirates would like to acquire Marlins catcher Matt Treanor and then trade him to Detroit along with Wilson. If the Giants fail to land Rafael Furcal, a source indicates the Giants may join the Wilson sweepstakes.
