PITTSBURGH — After an off-day on Sunday, the Penguins are back on the ice this morning at the Consol Energy Center.
Evgeni Malkin remains off the ice and is not practicing this morning, along with Kris Letang and Chris Kunitz.
The Penguins are expected to hold Malkin out until after the All-Star break. He is dealing with a banged up knee that he continues to reaggravate. The Penguins have one game remaining before the break, hosting the New York Islanders tomorrow night.
The sense is..

Malkin will also skip the All-Star game, although the Penguins have yet to make a decision.
At this point, Crosby’s return remains very much up in the air and it could very likely be weeks away. He has yet to even be cleared for dryland activies but is said to be improving.
