oshie LATEST PENGUINS RUMORS
Far from a surprise, the Penguins are starting to be connected to T.J. Oshie on the rumor mill. Oshie who has been identified as one of the primary three to four wingers Jim Rutherford is looking at, though, Rutherford is looking at many options, Patrick Sharp among them as he looks to make a splash, executives with other teams contend.
Oshie, 28, is available as the Blues are looking to shake things up. He has two years left on his deal with a $4.175 million cap hit.
The Penguins interest in Oshie has been anticipated but the Penguins in swinging for the fences in some of the deals Rutherford is looking into, are dealing from a point of weakness.

However, several names have been discussed in talks with the Blues, but no deal is close at this time.
Brandon Sutter, Derrick Pouliot, Beau Bennett are among the names on the table, including the Penguins 2016 first round pick being discussed, with the Penguins having their sights set on Oshie and young forward Ty Rattie, who the Penguins passed on in the 2011 draft but was coached by Mike Johnston in juniors.
