The Pitt Panthers football program received some very good news this afternoon when star running back LeSean McCoy announced he will return for his junior season. Rumors have been swirling that McCoy would declare for the NFL but McCoy has put those rumors to rest for now. McCoy 20, (227 CAR - 1,125 YDS - 18TD's) is rated among the top three running backs on many NFL draft boards and would likely be a 1st round pick if he were to declare for the NFL Draft. Still, the Draft is 5 months away and McCoy could change mind at anytime
