The Pittsburgh Panthers football team received their 4th Verbal commitment for the class of 2011 today. Paul Zeise of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that linebacker Quinton Alston (Timber Creek High School) from New Jersey committed to the Panthers.
Alston at 6-1, 223 lbs, was recruited by Pitt to be an inside linebacker. He has 80 tackles and and 4 sacks last season.
Alston joins three star tight end Same Collura (6-3, 265, DeMatha Catholic H.S. MD) quarterback Gary Nova (6-2, 205, Don Bosco H.S. NJ) and offensive guard Artie Rowell (6-2, 300, Central Dauphin H.S. PA).
