Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher spoke to Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder about becoming the Redskins head coach last year. Cowher confirmed that Snyder called him before moving on to candidates like Jim Fassel, Jim Mora Jr., Ron Meeks, Steve Spagnuolo, Steve Mariucci and Jim Schwartz. Cowher is expected to listen to offers regarding a return to coaching following the 08 campaign. Cowher will command up to $8 million per season.
