Ohio State’s Cameron Heyward is at the top of the Steelers wishlist at the defensive line position, along with Cameron Jordan (if he falls) followed by Baylors Phil Taylor but a new name is surfacing.

The team is said to have Iowa’s Adrian Clayborn (6-3, 283) on their radar along with Heyward and Taylor, the post-gazette’s Gerry Dulac reports.
Dulac actually ranks Clayborn over Heyward.
Penn State fans will surely remember Clayborn who had dominant games against the Nittany Lions in the past.
In 2010 Clayborn recorded 19 solo tackles and 33 assists, including seven tackles for loss and 3.5 QB sacks. In 2009, Clayborn recorded 36 solo tackles and 34 assists in 13 games, with 20 tackles for loss, 11.5 QB sacks and four forced fumbles .
From scouts I’ve spoken with over the past couple weeks, there has been different opinions on whether Clayborn’s a better fit in 4-3 or 3-4.
Also of note, Clayborn suffers from Erb’s Palsy, an on-again, off-again paralysis of the upper arm that almost prevented him from ever playing contact sports, according to NFLdraftscout.com.
