Quarterback Byron Leftwich has a new suitor to add to his list. A source close to the Steelers tells me, Leftwich has a scheduled visit set for next week with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Leftwich who was offered a one year deal from the Steelers, worked out for the Redskins on Friday and the two sides remain in contact.
The Redskins

have not made an official offer to Leftwich but both sides continue to show mutual interest. A deal could get done before the draft and it will likely be a one year deal.
The Buccaneers will be Leftwich’s second visit of the off-season. Despite the interest in Leftwich, the Buccaneers have made it known, they won’t sign another veteran quarterback until after the draft. The team has been linked to Kansas State’s Josh Freeman.
