Mendenhall wasn’t in the Steelers plans against Cincinnati?

It was expected that 2nd year running back Rashard Mendenhall would get a few extra looks against Cincinnati after having a 39 yard run and a 13 yard reception against the Chicago Bears in week 2.
That wasn’t the case at all……Against the Bengals on Sunday, Mendenhall didn’t take a snap with the offense. In fact, according to head coach Mike Tomlin, Mendenhall wasn’t in the Steelers playbook for game #3.
The reason wasn’t because Willie Parker played well. It was because Mendenhall didn’t pay enough attention to details during the week, Tomlin indicated in his post-game comments.
