NFL: QB Daunte Culpepper to New England?

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports Tim Rattay and Chris Simms left New England without a contract and were told the team has other plans. The Patriots could have decided to go the trade route or just maybe Daunte Culpepper could be re-joining Randy Moss in New England. The two players looked into the possibility of signing with the same team during the off-season and now ESPN’s Chris Mortensen suggested on Monday Night Countdown that Randy Moss might have recommended Daunte Culpepper to the Patriots front office. Culpepper retired last week but it remains to be seen how long that will last
