Ozzie Newsome says Smith’s quick strike ability could be the key to beating PIT

The Baltimore Ravens believe they hit the jackpot in the first and second round of the 2011 draft.
The Ravens drafted the immensely talked but off the field troubled cornerback Jimmy Smith in the first round and wide receiver Torrey Smith in the second round.
‘It’s the dream team for us, being able to get both of those guys, ‘ Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome said on Wednesday.
Could these two picks be enough for the Ravens to finally get over the hump?
Newsome said on Wednesday that the quick strike ability with Torrey Smith could be key to competing with and beating the Steelers.
The Ravens believe you need playmakers to derail the Steelers and they feel they got two impact players from day 1 in Jimmy Smith and Torrey Smith.
Scouts feel Jimmy Smith could evolve into a shutdown corner in his rookie season.
“Pittsburgh has to continue to find ways to beat us, too, ” Newsome said.
