James Harrison LATEST STEELERS RUMORS

Until Kevin Colbert or Omar Khan contact the reps for Brett Keisel and James Harrison and tells them they are no longer under consideration to be signed, then the possibility is still out there for the Steelers to resign Keisel or Harrison, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert made it known today.

Keisel is only not in camp because of his reluctance to take a veteran minimum contract.
According to sources close to James Harrison, he has reached the point where he would jump at the chance to return to the Steelers, even at the vet minimum but the Steelers have wanted to see how things shake out in camp.
The depth of the outside linebacker position is very questionable. Steelers coaches have been in favor of bringing Harrison back, sources say.
Colbert also said today the Steelers have under $6.6 million in cap space, despite the latest numbers released by the NFLPA indicating they do.
Colbert hasn’t ruled out resigning some of the Steelers pending free agents. Among them include Shaun Suisham, Cortez Allen, Jason Worilds and Marcus Gilbert.
A deal for Jason Worilds is considered very unlikely. There has been no talks to this point with Cortez Allen.
The Steelers had preliminary talks with Gilbert in June, Gilbert’s agent confirmed via text message.
