According to the Tribune-Review, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward expects to practice on Thursday and test his injured knee. Ward spoke to the media Monday afternoon after the Steelers touched down in Tampa Bay at 11:50 a.m.
Ward had this to say — “We’ll see where we’re at, “I can’t really say because I haven’t run or cut or done anything. I’ve just been getting treatment 24 hours ’round-the-clock. It feels better. I don’t have a brace on. I’m walking around fine. It’s not going to be 100 percent. I’m not going to trick anybody and prove that but I think I’m going to be able to be good to go out there and perform like I want to.”
