Veteran wide receiver Ashley Lelie (6-3, 196 lbs) visited the Steelers on Monday according to the Tribune-Review
Lelie a seven year veteran, was once regarded as one of the top deep threats in the NFL.
From 2002-05 with the Denver Broncos, Lelie had 168 receptions and 12 touchdowns including a career best 54 catches for 1,084 yards and seven touchdowns in 2004.
The past three seasons though, Lelie has not been a factor on the field. Lelie has bounced around the league playing for Atlanta, San Francisco and Oakland.
Since 2006, Lelie has only 49 receptions and recorded 11 receptions - 197 yds - 2 touchdowns for the Oakland Raiders in 2008.
Lelie did average 17.9 yards per catch.
