Back-to-back games not ideal?

When Sidney Crosby returns to game action, he doesn’t want it to be a situation where he would lets say have to be on the cautious side and not be permitted to play back-to-back games off the bat.
While many have been targeting Sidney Crosby’s return date for November 11th, speculation out of Penguin headquarters is that team doctors don’t believe playing in back-to-back games is ideal after a serious 9-month layoff is ideal, which could very well put a fork into Sidney Crosby’s return Friday night as the Penguins play the following night against Carolina.
“I guess they {media} know more than I do,” Crosby said today on speculation that he’s returning Friday night.
“I haven’t really thought about that. I’ve thought more about just getting through this week. {Playing Friday} is a possibility, just like the other however many games left there are.”
“I’d love it to be {Friday}, but I wold have loved it to be on the West Coast trip, too.”
Although Friday is still four days away, team contacts are trying to lower expectations of a possible return this week for Crosby who has now been cleared for contact since October 12th.
