Head coach Dan Bylsma announced during his press conference this morning that Mike Comrie has a hip injury and the injury appears to be pretty serious based on Bylsma's comments and tone of voice.
Bylsma said Comrie suffered the injury in the second game of the season and after playing through the injury and going through almost a month of rehab, Comrie is scheduled to see a doctor on December 27th.
While Bylsma did not get into specifics, it sounds like surgery is a real possibility and likely scenario at this point.
