From a financial standpoint, the National Hockey League says it hasn't been better. The league expects a 5th straight year of revenue growth and revenues will be up 4-5% to almost $2.9 billion, according to Darren Rovell of CNBC.
The League is said to be on pace to set all-time revenue records this season with revenues up 12-14 % from last season.
