The Pittsburgh Penguins went into the weekend not close to a new deal with Tyler Kennedy but some developments this week were positive, sources say, as talks are on-going and discussions are said to be respectful from both sides.
While talks have centered around a two and three year deal, could a one year deal be in play with an agreement from both sides to discuss a long-term extension at somepoint next season?
