Penguins Looking to add

The Pittsburgh Penguins have tendered a two way offer to veteran defenseman Francis Bouillon as the team looks to add to their defensive depth.
Bouillon, 33, appeared in 54 games for the Montreal Canadiens last season, (5g-4a-9pts–7).
Bouillon made a salary of $1.85 million last season but has failed to land a one way contract to this point. The Penguins offer would be worth $750,000 at the NHL level, a team source tells me.
La Presse reports the Rangers and the Blackhawks are also in the mix for Bouillon. The Blackhawks have a two-way offer on the table.
Team insiders tell me this afternoon that the team is looking to bring in another veteran defenseman on a two way contract in addition to Philippe Boucher.
The Rangers are believed to be the favorites to land Bouillon.
More Rumors
Veteran defenseman Martin Skoula declined a two offer from the Penguins early this week that would have paid him $600,000 in the nhl.
The team has a one way offer on the table to Philippe Boucher and Boucher is expected to make a decision by September 1st.
Boucher is the only defenseman that the Penguins have a one way offer on the table too.
