The Rangers have a lot of commitments to their core players and due to a struggling economy which could result in the salary cap falling from the current $56.7M figure next season, it is going to make it difficult for the Rangers to re-sign forward Brandon Dubinsky, according to the New York Post. Dubinsky is tied for the team lead with 11 pts this season and could command an offer sheet in the range of $4-5 million. Signing Dubinsky to a figure in that range would result in the Rangers having almost $45 million committed to 10 players
