The NHL will remain on NBC/Versus for the foreseeable future as the two sides have reached a new TV deal, according to the Sports Business Journal.
An announcement from the league is expected this afternoon.
ESPN and Turner broadcasting were also in the mix for the NHL's media rights.
Updated: The numbers are out and NBC/Versus will pay the NHL $200 million per year.
