NHL: Savard fired 4 four games into season

Denis Savard has been fired as head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks just four games into the season. The Blackhawks who came into the season with high expectations are 1-2-1 this season. Despite beating the Phoenix Coyotes last night 4-1, the front office had their minds made up that a change was needed. Former Colorado Avalanche coach Joel Quenneville is being mentioned as the front runner to take over for Savard
