Anaheim Ducks super star Teemu Selanne is ready to return to the Anaheim Ducks but is growing concerned with the Anaheim Ducks lack of ability to move salary. The Ducks have been aggressively trying to move defenseman Mathieu Schneider and his cap hit of $5.6 million but have yet to find a taker. Clearing Schneider’s salary will only free up about 3 million in cap space. The Ducks are also willing to move forward Todd Marchant who currently has a cap hit of $2.5 million. Selanne is seeking $4.5 Р$5 million per season and according to a source Selanne has indicated to Anaheim GM Brian Burke that he is willing to play for less money but Selanne will not play for less than $4 million per season. The Ducks have their work cut out to clear enough salary to satisfy Selanne. Will Selanne listen to offers from other teams?

With whispers that Teemu Selanne is going to return for his 16th season, Don Baizley the agent for Teemu Selanne has been receiving calls from quite a few teams about the winger’s future. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Baizley has told teams inquiring about his client that Selanne remains focused on Anaheim but will listen to offers if the Ducks can’t strike a deal with Selanne.
