Lightning looking at two “roster players” and “two AHL players”

Could the Penguins be picking up their pursuit of Marty St. Louis? Sources indicate the Lightning and Penguins are currently in discussions with the Lightning looking very hard at Ryan Whitney, Max Talbot from the Penguins. The Lightning are also looking at Alex Goligoski, Dustin Jeffrey who are currently playing in the AHL. All four would obviously not be moved in a deal for St.Louis but those are four players the Lightning are scouting right now.

Pittsburgh has also been looking at a “mystery forward” and it’s not Recchi or Roberts. Jordan Staal is not involved in these talks.
Ryan Whitney is also drawing interest from the Canadiens and Sabres
