Insider Only No line changes in Friday’s Practice

The Penguins just went through their final practice this morning before they depart for Washington later this afternoon.
No line changes from¬†Thursday’s practice¬†as Miroslav Satan skated with the second line for the second consecutive day.
As expected, Petr Sykora will be scratched for Game 1.
Penguins Lineup for Saturday
Kunitz – Crosby – Guerin
Fedotenko – Malkin – Satan
Cooke – Staal – Kennedy
Dupuis – Talbot – Adams
Scratches: Godard, Sykora
Orpik – Gonchar
Gill – Scuderi
Eaton – Letang
Scratches: Boucher
I’m told defenseman Kris Letang will be on a

short leash in this series. I don’t agree with this but the way Bylsma runs practice is a always a good barometer as to what his plans are.
Yesterday, Boucher didn’t take any shifts with the Penguins regular pairings but today¬†he split evenly and remained on the second power play¬†unit. I can confirm he will be scratched in game 1 but Bylsma will not be shy about making a switch.
Capitals lineup based on lines in practice today
* Alexander Ovechkin returned to practice after taking a day off on Thursday. A Russian report did confirm Ovechkin is bothered by a lower body injury.
