The Pirates this afternoon promoted left handed pitcher Aaron Thompson from Double-A Altoona to Triple-A Indy, leading to speculation that Ohlendorf won’t come off the DL and play for Indy. GM Neal Huntington has said that the team will make an announcement on Ohlendorf in the next 48-72 hours.
