Defenseman Brooks Orpik (groin) is testing his injured groin about 40 minutes before the Penguins are due to hit the ice around 10:30 a.m. for their morning skate. He is doing some very light skating and it doesn't appear he will play tonight.
Pittsburgh host the New York Islanders tonight at the Consol Energy Center.
