The Pittsburgh Panthers (15-2, 5-0) have moved up to the No. 9 spot in the associated press poll that was released today.
The Panthers are No. 11 in the coaches poll.
The Panthers have won eight straight games and are coming off wins against Connecticut and a thrilling overtime victory over Louisville.
Pittsburgh started the season unranked but are ranked in the top 10 for the ninth straight season.
West Virginia (13-3) is No. 11 in the Associated Press poll.
The Panthers host No. 12 Georgetown Wednesday night.
